Christmas Tournament 2024

Our Christmas social was a great success, with over 20 attendees. It was a day of competitive chess with a festive flair.

Starting early in the day around 2pm, 7 rounds of 5+5 minute chess were played within the cozy backroom at Thirsty's (an excellent venue).

The games were interspersed with increasingly tricky puzzles, and we capped off the tournament with a raffle for all attendees.

It was a hard-fought tournament with ties for 1st and 2nd, as well as 3rd and 4th, resulting in tie-break games.
